Parties Involved:

• Client: The client is an organization, media company, or event manager that seeks to create and publish 100 videos featuring historical places. These videos may be intended for digital marketing, educational purposes, social media distribution, or other platforms.
• Contractor(s): The contractor is a production company or individual video creators responsible for researching, filming, editing, and delivering 100 videos based on historical locations. This may involve multiple contractors for specific tasks such as videography, research, editing, voice-over, and post-production.

Budget:

The total contract budget for the production of 100 videos on historical places is ₹50,000. This budget will be allocated across various stages of video production, including research, filming, editing, and delivery.

Scope of Work:

The contractor will be responsible for all aspects of video production, from research and concept development to the final edited video ready for distribution.

1. Services Provided: The contractor will perform the following services as part of this contract:

   • Research and Planning: The contractor will research historical places as specified by the client. This includes gathering historical facts, understanding the cultural and geographical significance of each site, and identifying the unique aspects that will make for an engaging video.
   • Scripting and Storyboarding: Once research is complete, the contractor will develop a script for each video, which may include narration, key talking points, and visual elements. A storyboard will be created for each video to plan out the shot sequences and ensure all key aspects of the location are covered.
   • Filming and Videography: The contractor will handle the actual filming of the historical sites. This may involve traveling to different locations, setting up cameras, ensuring proper lighting and sound, and capturing relevant footage that highlights the key features of each site. Filming may include drone shots, panoramic views, and close-up shots of important artifacts or architectural features.
   • Video Editing: After filming, the contractor will edit the footage into a cohesive video. This will include cutting unnecessary footage, adjusting lighting, adding transitions, and ensuring the video flows smoothly. The contractor will also ensure that the video maintains high production quality.
   • Voiceover and Audio: If required by the client, the contractor will provide voice-over services, narrating the history or providing commentary on the historical significance of the locations. Background music and sound effects will also be added to enhance the viewing experience.
   • Final Deliverables: The final deliverables will be 100 fully edited videos, with each video featuring historical content, narration, and visuals. The videos will be provided in the required format (e.g., MP4, MOV) and resolution suitable for distribution on the client’s preferred platform (e.g., YouTube, social media, educational websites).

2. Timeline and Deadlines:

   • Research and Scripting (2 Weeks): The contractor will research and create scripts for all 100 videos. This stage will take approximately two weeks to ensure comprehensive coverage of the historical sites.
   • Filming Phase (4 Weeks): Filming will take place over four weeks, depending on the number of locations and the complexity of the shots required. Filming may require travel to multiple locations, and the contractor will coordinate the logistics accordingly.
   • Editing and Post-Production (4-6 Weeks): After filming, the contractor will spend 4 to 6 weeks editing the videos, which includes adding voice-over, sound effects, music, and any required visual enhancements.
   • Final Review and Delivery (1 Week): Once all editing is complete, the client will review the videos. Any feedback or revisions requested by the client will be incorporated within one week. Final delivery of all 100 videos will occur after client approval.

3. Payment Terms:

   • 30% Advance Payment: The client will pay an advance of 30% of the total contract amount at the time of signing the contract. This will cover the initial stages of research and scripting.
   • 40% Upon Filming Completion: After the filming phase is complete, the client will pay 40% of the total contract amount. This payment will cover the cost of shooting and traveling to locations.
   • 30% Upon Final Delivery: The remaining 30% will be paid once the 100 videos are delivered in their final edited form, and the client confirms that the videos meet all requirements and standards.

4. Responsibilities of the Client:

   • Providing Video Requirements: The client will provide specific guidelines for the historical places to be featured, as well as any particular themes, elements, or style preferences for the videos (e.g., educational tone, promotional).
   • Approving Scripts and Final Videos: The client will review and approve the initial scripts for each video and provide feedback. The client will also review the final edited videos and request any necessary revisions.
   • Timely Payment: The client will adhere to the agreed payment schedule, ensuring that payments are made on time as per the terms of the contract.

5. Quality Assurance and Standards:

   • Video Production Quality: The contractor is responsible for maintaining high video production standards, ensuring that each video is clear, visually engaging, and informative. This includes maintaining proper lighting, sound, and video composition during filming.
   • Historical Accuracy: The contractor must ensure that the historical facts presented in the videos are accurate, well-researched, and appropriately referenced. The contractor should avoid making any claims that could be seen as misleading or unverified.
   • Editing and Post-Production Quality: The final videos should be professionally edited, with smooth transitions, clear audio, and visually appealing graphics. The videos should be polished and free from technical issues such as background noise, improper cuts, or inconsistent lighting.

6. Revisions and Modifications:

   • Script Revisions: The client may request revisions to the scripts after reviewing the initial drafts. The contractor will make the necessary changes and resubmit the revised scripts for approval.
   • Video Revisions: After receiving the final edited videos, the client may request minor adjustments (e.g., changes to the narration, adding or removing clips, adjusting audio levels). The contractor will incorporate these revisions, provided they are reasonable and within the scope of the original agreement.

7. Termination Clause:

   • By the Client: The client may terminate the contract with a 15-day written notice. If the contract is terminated before the completion of filming, the contractor will refund any advance payments made by the client. If terminated after filming has begun, the client will pay for the work completed up to the termination date.
   • By the Contractor: The contractor may terminate the contract if the client fails to make payments as agreed or does not provide timely approvals for scripts or final videos. In such cases, the contractor must notify the client in writing and may withhold any work already completed.

8. Confidentiality Clause:

• The contractor agrees to maintain confidentiality regarding all aspects of the project, including the client’s content, scripts, research, and videos. The contractor will not share any client information or materials with third parties without prior written consent from the client.
