Parties Involved:

• Client: The client is an organization, company, restaurant, or content creator seeking the production of 50 cooking videos. These videos may be intended for online distribution, such as on social media platforms, YouTube, or educational websites.
• Contractor(s): The contractor is a video production company or a team of individual creators specializing in cooking video production. The contractor is responsible for filming, editing, and delivering the final videos as per the client’s requirements.

Budget:

The total contract budget for the production of 50 cooking videos is ₹20,000. This budget will cover all aspects of video production, including recipe research, filming, editing, and delivery.

Scope of Work:

The contractor will handle all stages of video production, from recipe research to final delivery. The videos will focus on cooking tutorials, recipe demonstrations, or promotional content for food-related products or services.

1. Services Provided: The contractor will provide the following services as part of this contract:

   • Recipe Research and Development: The contractor will assist in developing or researching recipes to be featured in the videos. This may include traditional dishes, modern variations, or dishes tied to specific events or seasons. The contractor will ensure that each recipe is practical, easily replicable, and engaging for viewers.
   • Video Scripting: Once the recipes are decided upon, the contractor will prepare a script for each video. This includes planning out the cooking steps, ingredient lists, and necessary equipment, along with any additional commentary or instructions for the viewers.
   • Filming and Production: The contractor will film each recipe preparation step, ensuring proper lighting, camera angles, and sound to highlight the cooking process. This may involve close-up shots of ingredients being prepared, the cooking process, and the final dish being plated. Multiple camera angles may be used to capture the action from different perspectives.
   • Video Editing: After filming, the contractor will edit the footage to create a cohesive and engaging cooking video. This will include cutting unnecessary footage, adding captions or text overlays for ingredient lists, inserting transitions, adjusting audio levels, and ensuring the pacing of the video is suitable for an engaging viewer experience.
   • Voice-over and Music: If requested, the contractor will provide a voice-over for the videos, narrating the steps of the recipe or providing tips for cooking. Background music may also be added to enhance the viewing experience.
   • Final Deliverables: The final deliverables will be 50 completed cooking videos, each with a duration of 3 to 10 minutes (depending on the recipe). The videos will be delivered in the required format (e.g., MP4, MOV) and resolution (typically 1080p HD).

2. Timeline and Deadlines:

   • Recipe Research and Approval (1 Week): The contractor will submit a list of proposed recipes for the client’s review and approval within one week. The client can suggest adjustments or select from the proposed recipes.
   • Filming Phase (4 Weeks): Filming will take place over the course of four weeks, during which the contractor will film and produce the required 50 cooking videos. Filming will be done in batches, with multiple recipes filmed on each shooting day.
   • Editing and Post-Production (4 Weeks): After filming, the contractor will spend approximately four weeks editing the videos. This includes cutting, sequencing, and adding music, captions, and voice-overs.
   • Final Review and Delivery (1 Week): After editing, the client will review the videos. Any feedback or revisions requested will be incorporated within one week, after which the final videos will be delivered.

3. Payment Terms:

   • 30% Advance Payment: The client will pay an advance of 30% of the total contract value at the time of signing the contract. This will cover the initial stages of recipe research and preparation.
   • 40% Upon Completion of Filming: Once filming of the 50 cooking videos is complete, the client will pay 40% of the contract value. This payment will cover the costs of filming and production.
   • 30% Upon Final Delivery: The remaining 30% will be due once all 50 cooking videos are delivered, and the client confirms that they meet the agreed standards and quality.

4. Responsibilities of the Client:

   • Providing Recipe Ideas and Guidelines: The client will provide the contractor with a general idea of the type of recipes they wish to feature. The client may also provide specific ingredients, themes, or cooking techniques they want highlighted in the videos.
   • Approving Recipes and Scripts: The client will review and approve the recipes and scripts developed by the contractor. Feedback and suggestions for changes will be provided during the approval process.
   • Payment: The client will make timely payments according to the schedule outlined in the contract.

5. Quality Assurance and Standards:

   • Video Production Quality: The contractor is responsible for ensuring that the videos meet high production standards. This includes high-quality filming, proper lighting, clear and audible sound, and clear visuals of the cooking process. The final product should be visually appealing and easy to follow for viewers.
   • Recipe Clarity: The contractor will ensure that the recipes are presented in a clear and easy-to-understand manner. Ingredients, measurements, and cooking steps will be easy to follow, with sufficient detail for viewers to replicate the recipe themselves.
   • Editing and Post-Production Quality: The final edited videos will be polished, with smooth transitions, appropriate background music, and clear captions. The pacing of the video will be appropriate, with no unnecessary long pauses or rushed instructions.

6. Revisions and Modifications:

   • Recipe Adjustments: If the client requests changes to the recipe or the method of preparation after the script has been finalized, the contractor will incorporate those changes as long as they are reasonable.
   • Video Revisions: After receiving the final edited videos, the client may request minor revisions (e.g., adjusting the pacing, modifying the voice-over, adding or removing certain elements). The contractor will implement these changes, provided they are within the scope of the original project.

7. Termination Clause:

   • By the Client: The client may terminate the contract with 15 days' written notice. If the contract is terminated before filming begins, the client will be refunded the advance payment. If termination occurs after filming has started, the client will pay for the work completed up to that point.
   • By the Contractor: The contractor may terminate the contract if the client fails to meet payment deadlines or fails to provide timely approvals for recipes, scripts, or final videos. In this case, the contractor must notify the client in writing and may withhold completed work until payment issues are resolved.

8. Confidentiality Clause:

• The contractor agrees to keep all recipes, video content, and any proprietary information related to the client’s business confidential. No part of the video content or recipes will be shared with third parties without prior written consent from the client.
