ERP System Specialist/Developer
We are seeking an experienced ERP System Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in the implementation, customization, and maintenance of our ERP system, ensuring it aligns with our business goals and operational processes. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline operations, automate workflows, and optimize business performance through effective use of ERP technology.
As an ERP System Specialist, you will be responsible for the full cycle of ERP implementation, including requirements gathering, system configuration, data migration, user training, and ongoing support.
Key Responsibilities:
- ERP Implementation & Customization: Lead the full ERP implementation process, including configuration, customization, and optimization to fit business processes.
- Business Analysis: Work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements, analyze business processes, and ensure ERP solutions meet organizational needs.
- System Integration: Integrate the ERP system with other internal and third-party applications (CRM, HRM, inventory management, etc.).
- User Training & Support: Provide training and documentation to end-users, offering ongoing technical support and troubleshooting.
- Data Migration: Assist in data migration and ensure data integrity during the transition from legacy systems to the new ERP platform.
- Performance Monitoring & Optimization: Monitor system performance and make recommendations for improvements, ensuring the system operates efficiently and effectively.
- Technical Skills:
- ERP Platforms: In-depth knowledge of ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, NetSuite, or Odoo.
- Database Management: Proficient in working with relational databases (e.g., SQL, MySQL), and ensuring data accuracy and consistency.
- Programming Languages: Experience with Python, Java, C#, or similar programming languages used for ERP customization.
- System Integration: Familiarity with API integration and middleware solutions for connecting ERP systems with other business tools.
- Reporting Tools: Knowledge of BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) for reporting and data visualization.
- Project Management Software: Comfortable with tools like JIRA, Asana, or Trello for managing tasks and timelines during ERP projects.
- Soft Skills:
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to identify issues and optimize processes within the ERP system.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Project Management: Ability to manage ERP projects end-to-end, ensuring timely delivery of milestones.
- Team Collaboration: Experience working in cross-functional teams, collaborating with departments such as finance, supply chain, HR, and IT.
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience with ERP system implementation and management.
- ERP certification (e.g., SAP Certified Application Associate, Microsoft Dynamics 365 Certification) is a plus.
- Experience in business process reengineering and system design.
- Previous experience in specific industries (e.g., manufacturing, retail, healthcare) is highly desirable.
