Responsibilities:
- Develop and customize WordPress websites and Shopify stores according to client requirements, ensuring high-quality design, functionality, and user experience.
- Collaborate with clients, designers, and project managers to gather requirements, propose technical solutions, and deliver projects on time and within budget.
- Customize WordPress themes and plugins, implement Shopify themes, and integrate third-party applications and APIs to enhance website and store functionality.
- Optimize websites and stores for performance, speed, and search engine visibility, implementing SEO best practices and technical optimizations.
- Provide ongoing support, maintenance, and troubleshooting for WordPress websites and Shopify stores, addressing technical issues, updates, and security vulnerabilities.
- Stay updated on the latest trends, technologies, and best practices in WordPress and Shopify development, and proactively recommend innovative solutions to improve our service offerings.
- Assist with pre-sales activities, including scoping projects, estimating timelines and budgets, and presenting solutions to potential clients.
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
years of experience in WordPress and Shopify development, with a proven track record of delivering successful projects for clients.
Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, and the ability to customize WordPress themes and Shopify templates using these languages.
Strong knowledge of WordPress and Shopify ecosystems, including themes, plugins, APIs, and best practices for customization and integration.
Experience with version control systems such as Git, and familiarity with development workflows and collaboration tools.
